[Bucky hadn't expected Sam to keep his replacement challenge coin, in all honesty. Sure, he values Sam's coin extremely highly, but for some reason he didn't think it would be the same for Sam. Part of him actually thought that Sam would throw the coin away. To see it again and to hear that Sam carries it with him is strangely touching.
